Chakra balancing is the process of restoring a harmonious flow of energy across the Chakra system. There are 7 main energy centers in the body, known as chakras. These are the Root Chakra, Sacral Chakra, Solar Plexus Chakra, Heart Chakra, Throat Chakra, Third Eye Chakra and Crown Chakra. An imbalance in your Chakras means that some Chakras are over-active, and some are under-active. Just like anything else in life, the keyword is "balance". The goal behind all spiritual practices is to reach a place a balance between spirit, body, earth and health, universality and grounding.
Since the Chakras receive and transmit energy too much or too little may effect the way we think, act and feel. Many people who are new to the ideas of Chakra balancing mistakenly think that means opening the Chakras. Closing a Chakra or two actually provides more psychic and emotional relief than opening a chakra. Finding the perfect balance between open Chakra and close Chakram and keeping up our own energetic boundaries, is the main purpose of Chakra balancing.

The purpose of chakra balancing is to support a balanced flow that will sustain our overall level of energy. Balancing consists in establishing sufficient and consistent flow where there is not enough, regulating energy where there's too much, and aligning where there's distortion or displacement.

Root Chakra - When this chakra is balance, you feel supported, a sense of connection and safety to the physical world, and grounded. The lesson of this chakra is self-preservation.
Sacral Chakra - When this chakra is balanced, we have an ability to rake risks, be creative and more committed. The lesson of this chakra is to honor others.
Solar Plexus Chakra - When this chakra is balanced, we feel self-respect and self-compassion. We feel in control, assertive and confident. The lesson of this chakra is self-acceptance.
Heart Chakra - When this chakra is balanced we feel joy, gratitude, love and compassion, forgiveness flows freely and trust is gained. The lesson of this chakra is love.
Throat Chakra - When this chakra is balanced, we have free flowing of words, expression, communication, are honest, truthful yet firm and good listeners. The lesson of this chakra is to speak up and let your voice be heard.
Third Eye Chakra - When this chakra is balanced we feel clear, focused, and can determine between truth and illusion. We are open to receiving wisdom and insight. The lesson of this chakra is to see the big picture.
Crown Chakra - When this chakra is balanced, we live in the present moment. We have an unshakeable trust in our inner guidance. The lesson of this chakra is live mindfully.
